Generally speaking, complex products typically result in longer lead times. For instance, 30- and 60-minute timber frames are relatively simple products, and therefore, they usually can be manufactured in a shorter timeframe. In contrast, 90- and 120-minute doors with steel frames are more complex, which leads to extended lead times. Moreover, more technical fire doors often include multiple components that our team must assemble, which increases the labor time required for each doorset.
Workload of the manufacturer:
A light workload means manufacturers can turn around your order quick. Alternatively, when fire door demand is excessive, longer lead times can start to become more common with fire door manufacturers.
